"I first joined Paigaam to see how it could impact us, to enhance motivation for productive and fruitful actions; and most importantly, to bring understanding between people. But today, I am spreading the message of peace because it had made a positive difference in my own life."

Natalino Gueterres, Luther College student  joined Paigaam to help raise community awareness to act together towards ending violence. Gueterres was awarded a $10,000 Davis Projects for Peace grant to support his Music for Peace project in his native country of Timor-Leste.
"I believe that Paigaam has the potential to gather young people and encourage them to use their knowledge and creativity; to work on initiatives that can help promote peace somewhere in the world."

Njabulo Maseko, Luther College student from Swaziland started working with Paigaam because she felt the need to work towards the empowerment of women.
"I joined Paigaam because I support its mission that deals with conflict at any level and through innovative ideas helps promote peace in the long run."
